<p>I&#8217;m working out with an old friend at 8:30 in the morning today at 24 Hour Fitness in Buena Park.  I usually work out at 5:30 or 6 am.  He told me it was going to be a lite workout&#8230;.I wonder what lite means to him?</p>
<h3>The Light Workout&#8230;Oh Sure</h3>
<p>We did upper body today&#8230;I think it was about 8 to 10 sets per body part&#8230;and this was suppose to be light for him&#8230;.oh my gosh&#8230;it took an hour to complete.  Then, I joined him for 45 minutes of cardio on Precor.  I made it through the cardio.</p>
<p>And took a rest later in the day to recover&#8230;.I must be getting old.  I&#8217;m looking forward to my <strong>weight loss success</strong> to continue.</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s weigh in was at 246.</p>

<p>Weigh in today: 245.5&#8230;.I lost a 1/2 pound&#8230;should I do the dance of joy now? </p>
<p>1/2 of Syntha-6 protein plus a vita C packet, calicum, L-tryosine as a pre-workout quick meal.</p>
<p>Workout: upper body today using a 8&#215;8 series.  8 sets of 8 reps per exercise with little rest in between sents.  I did two exercies for chest and back which is 16 sets for each of them.  Then I did 8&#215;8 for shoulder press.</p>
<p>I ate four meals today.</p>

<p>Off to the Gym Fitness Jay Goes</p>
<p>Off to the gym for Back and Shoulders today.  I did two giant cylces of 30 reps per exercise and used drop sets to make the workout fun.  My calories were a little high today at 3400&#8230;it must have been too much food&#8230;did I lose or gain weight&#8230;today, I weighed in at 246&#8230;let&#8217;s see what happens on Tuesday.</p>

<p>This morning I started with 1 scoop of Syntha-6 protein and an EmergenC packet along with an <strong>Isagenix Accelerator</strong> capsule.</p>
<h3>Gym Workout</h3>
<p>I did 30 reps of three sets of Front Pull downs, cable rows, bench press and should press along with bicep curls.</p>
<p>I was able to get that done in 35 minutes.</p>

<h2>Pre-Workout meal for Weight Loss Success</h2>
<p>Water&#8230;24 ounces&#8230;no calories there!!!</p>
<p>I had 1 Isagenix Natural Accelerator capsule, 2 Arbonne Figure 8 tablets and 2 L-Taurine caps.</p>
<h3>Cardio for Weight Loss</h3>
<p>Then, I went to the gym&#8230;yikes.  I need to develop some local cardio sessions here at the beach instead of running to the gym for a quick cardio session.</p>
<p>Today is a split day&#8230;kind of a whole day but the workout is split in two sessions.  This morning I did a form of cardio called HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).  30 seconds in a sprint and then 30 seconds in a jog on the Precor efx machine with an elevation of 9 and a resistance of 9 on the jog and 12 on the sprint.  Cardio lasted 10 minutes and my heart rate was 130 at the end.</p>
<p>Session two today will be abs and pushups with a new product called &#8220;Perfect Pushups&#8221;.  I have used it in the past and it is a lot harder than a normal pushup.</p>
<h4>Post Workout Meal</h4>
<p>My first meal today was 1.5 cups of Eggoloy (egg whites), 1 egg, 3/4 cup of organic pinto/kidney beans and some peas.  Seasoned with a little of Ken&#8217;s Ceasar Salad dressing lite used during the cooking&#8230;.it tastes great.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today, I was back at the gym after taking about two weeks off.  I will be weighing myself on Friday and measuring to track my progress.  Since I have not been to the gym in a few weeks, I decided to take it easy.</p>
<h2>Pre-Workout Meal</h2>
<p>My pre-workout meal was 1/4 scoop of Jay Robb Protein, Syntha-6 Protein and one packet of Emer&#8217;ngy Vitamin C.  I took one Isagenix Natual Accelerator capsule and one tablet of Arbonne&#8217;s Figure 8 Going, Going Gone product.  I have several bottles of the Arbonne product so I&#8217;m using them up.</p>
<h3>Gym Workout</h3>
<p>I worked on my back and biceps today.  A quick workout&#8230;just 12 minutes.</p>
<p>I started with Front Pull Downs.  I did one warm up set and then I started at 120 pounds.  I did a set of 6 reps, then lowered the weight one plate at a time to to 110 and so on down to 50 pounds (Drop Sets).  Then, I moved to Low Row and did the same drop set.  Then on to bicep curls.  I choose Preacher Curls which is on an incline bench for my arms. I started with 80 pounds for 6 reps, then went to 70 pounds, 60 ounds, 45 pounds&#8230;.on two series of drop sets.</p>
<p>Then, done.</p>
<p>Now the hard part begins&#8230;.yep, the next 23 hours of working, eating and sleeping&#8230;.eat clean.</p>
